Slate Zero: Status Update

Current Status: Riser Rework in Progress

14/10/2026
During on-site QC, the anodisation on the aluminium riser component did not meet our exact specifications. We have rejected this batch and instructed the factory to rework the finish immediately. Rework will be completed by 20/10/2026, at which point our team will resume final QC and packaging. Revised dispatch target is 26/10/2026.

12/10/2026
Our team has arrived at the factory to begin final quality control (QC) and packaging.

10/10/2026
Factory operations resume following the Mid-Autumn Festival, National Day, and Golden Week holiday break.

24/09/2026
Anodising and overall product finishing are officially completed for all units.


15/09/2026
Anodising process has officially started.



11/09/2026
PCB production is completed.

Laser engraving has officially started.



17/08/2026
CNC machining is officially completed for all parts.

16/07/2026
CNC production for the aluminium cases has started and has been running smoothly for the past three days.

07/07/2026
Raw materials have arrived at the factory, and production has officially commenced.

Orders are officially confirmed, and the factory is currently procuring materials for production.

Payment has been successfully received from all global vendors. Final orders have been officially submitted to kick off the manufacturing phase.

The pre-order window officially closed on May 31st. We have compiled the final order data and dispatched all purchase orders and invoices to our regional vendors.

Currently, we are waiting for all vendor invoice payments to process and clear. Physical manufacturing will begin the moment this administrative phase wraps up.
