An introduction: Expanding the Atelier
Atelier Magnus has always been about making things we want to use ourselves.
For the past decade, we’ve been designing and handcrafting high-end devices for a niche audience that values precision, durability, and design that stands the test of time. But after ten years in the vaping world (Magnus Mods), we felt it was time for a new challenge—something that would push us further but still reflect what we’ve always stood for.
That’s where the slate75 comes in.
Our first entry into the custom mechanical keyboard space, the slate75 is a product born from curiosity, obsession, and a deep respect for craft. It’s the kind of tool that doesn’t just sit on your desk—it transforms it. And at the heart of it is a small but deliberate detail: the twist-to-tilt mechanism.
We went through multiple iterations of that mechanism before getting it just right. It might look simple, but it represents everything we care about—clean execution, understated innovation, and a sense of fun. We believe design should invite interaction, and the slate75 was built to do exactly that. We want people to feel inspired to type.
Who We Are
We’re a four-person team based in Penang, Malaysia:

We all wear multiple hats. One day it’s surface finishing, the next it’s shooting photos or editing videos. Everything—from assembly to packaging—is done in-house, except for CNC machining. That hands-on approach isn’t just practical. It’s how we stay close to what we’re making.
What We Stand For
Atelier Magnus is a lifestyle brand at heart. We’re not chasing trends or growth hacks. We make what we like, and we make it well. For us, quality isn’t negotiable. Every finish, every fit—if it doesn’t meet our standards, it doesn’t ship.
We’ve always believed that the right product, made with care, can inspire. Whether it’s a tool you use every day or something you just like having around, design has the power to shape how you feel.
The slate75 is our way of saying: tools can be beautiful. Function can have personality. And great design doesn’t need to shout—it just needs to feel right.
